3D printing the future; at the London Science Museum

Last week I visited the 3D printing exhibition at the Science museum. The exhibition wall is a collection of over 600 printed objects including anything from plane parts to body parts.

The exhibition focuses on the future of industry, medicine and whether 3D printing will change your shopping experience. As we have all been keeping up to date with the latest developments in the 3D printing world it was a great chance to actually see 3D creations in real life.

Although I really enjoyed seeing the 3D creations it was a real shame that I didn’t get to see a 3D printer in action.  Although seeing the finished products was interesting I can’t help but feel the museum are missing a trick by not having a live example of an object being created.
